Step-by-step guide to getting started with tapio
Step 1
To get started with tapio, as a company, you need a company account. Have your valid VAT identification number and company address ready for registration.
Step 2
Some apps from tapio and partners require a connection to your machine. You can add the machine in three ways. Adding machines to your tapio account is free.

Not sure if your machine is ready for QuickConnect? Just add it via Easy Add, and we will check the connectivity level of your machine for you. All we need are a few details about the machine and some time.

You are already at the machine and have opened QuickConnect? Then you can connect your machine to tapio in less than 5 minutes. Simply go to
My tapio and click on "Add" > "QuickConnect" and follow the instructions for verification.

Do you want to add multiple machines? Just use the HOMAG machine import. Just give us your HOMAG customer number and we will take over the unique assignment of your machines for you.
Step 3
To enable your colleagues and employees to access tapio apps and partner apps, simply add them to My tapio with their email address. Your colleagues will then receive an email invitation to activate their account in My tapio.

Step 4
In order to be able to use applications from tapio and partners, you need a license. You can purchase these in the tapio shop (also necessary for trial phases). After purchasing, the licenses will appear in the application tab of My tapio, where you can set up the app.
Depending on the license model, you can assign machines and users here.
Step 5
Whether an application is accessible via the browser, the App Store, or the Play Store, you can find out on the respective product pages.
Web apps are applications that you can access directly from all your devices through your browser. You only need a link and your My tapio login.
Apps are applications that you need to download in advance from the App Store or the Play Store. After downloading, you can log in with your
My tapio login.
